I'm so STRESSED! I can't believe the amount of things that have to be taken care of before this trip. Just in case you ever do this, make sure you make your list in advance. For example:

Check your wireless and wi-fi ability and charges, get your Skype credit, you might want to take a netbook (don't forget a security program for that), travel proof your house...get a house sitter, or, take down your flags, shut off any potential water problem areas, unplug computers and appliances, take valuables to a safe deposit box, stop mail, stop newspapers, cancel cable....the list goes on and on! I opted for the house sitter. This way our dog will be happy. Doesn't hurt that he has another dog to keep Cooper happy.
